Marco and Giacomo grew up working in their family’s bakery, learning the craft of traditional Italian desserts and cookies from their great grandfather and uncle, who operated a small bakery for fifty years in the little town of Palermo, Sicily. Their venture into providing excellent service began when they worked at their fathers well known “Bar Caffe Politeama”, located in the historic center of Palermo, near the Politeama Theatre, one of Palermo’s great attractions!
At the Bar Caffe Politeama, they learned the art of making creamy gelato/ice-cream, and the traditional Italian espresso and cappuccino. After working hard for their family’s own bakery, Marco and Giacomo decided to bring the authentic Italian flavors of Palermo to America.
